When I think about my favorite memory with Aaron and Kristin, it’s hard to pick a favorite. I first met Aaron and Kristin almost nine years ago at my home Parish in the youth ministry program. I remember feeling very anxious and not knowing a single person but from day one Kristin always welcomed me with a smile. Coincidentally I ended up being in Aaron’s class and this point I had no idea they were married. I quickly got to know the Wegenkas through all of the programming at SJV, and I could not thank them enough for always being a listening ear.
Aaron and Kristen have quite literally watch me grow up throughout the last 9 years and I seriously don’t know where I’d be without their love, support, guidance. Our relationship grew into an incredible friendship that I will always cherish. I’ve always looked up to Aaron and Kristin, so thank you for always being incredible role models to me. I seriously don’t know what I’d do with out y’all!!!
I know without a doubt that Aaron and Kristen are going to make the most incredible parents. I’ve seen them first hand dive in and help all of friends and family with their kids, and I cannot wait to see them with a child of their own. Kristen is always thinking about others, and had a natural motherly instinct. She has always been able to tell if I’m having an off day, but non the less has always been a cheerleader in my corner. She’s going to be the most incredible momma to a very lucky baby. Aaron, is one of the most caring and brave people I know. There is nothing Aaron isn’t willing to do. He has always been hardworking, encouraging, and thoughtful from the first day I walked into his class. All traits I can’t wait for him to embody with his kids. The Wegenka’s have not only been there as friends, but have always been there to guide me, through the good and and not so good.
Aaron and Kristen, I could not be more elated to see you both become parents. There is no one else more deserving than the both of you to receive this opportunity. I know this has been years in the making, and long journey to become Parents, but I fully trust the Lords timing.
Please consider joining me, and intentionally praying for Aaron and Kristen as the Lord prepares their hearts to become parents over the next few months. And please consider donating in any way that you can. Here is a link to their fundraising site- https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-aaron-and-kristin-adopt
