Aaron Will JUMP at the Chance to Change a Diaper

by Jeff and Erika Wegenka

To our family, Aaron and Kristin go by many names:  Aunt, Uncle, Kiki, brother, sister, Kristin Bear, Aaron Bear.  However, we cannot give them the names they have longed for and prayed for most:  Dad and Mom.

Aaron, being my big brother, has taught me life is too short to not live it to its fullest.  He is always up for an adventure, a project, a good meal, a workout when it's needed, or a good conversation after lights out.  He has been my brother, my roommate, and my friend.  As a father, he will jump at the chance to change a diaper, play, or just be present.

Kristin was made to be a mother.  She is nurturing in words and deed and always willing to pitch in to help.  She is one step ahead and always prepared for any challenge.  As a mother, Kristin will be selfless in her actions and loving in her words.  Together, they are faithful, patient, resilient, enthusiastic, fun, and energetic.

Their family support is strong.  Between their two families, they have four parents, six siblings (and siblings-in-law), and 9 nieces and nephews.  They reciprocate that support back into their families through hosting family dinners, projects for their parents and siblings, and hosting ‘Kiki Weeky’ for their nieces.  They are always willing to help our family (and friends) at a moment’s notice.

We are so happy for Aaron and Kristin on this adoption journey, and we could not think of a better suited couple to welcome a child into their home.
